You know the scene in the Pixar movie Soul where people go "in the zone" of their passions ? Like another realm of consciousness where you've reached your flow state. This is the best way I can describe my brain when I'm providing Bodywork for a client. It really is like a whole other realm I enter into when I'm doing my job. SO cool and I love what I do!! Also this movie is one of my favorites definitely recommend if you've never seen it !! 🫶🏻

Thank you so much everyone for all the follows, beautiful reviews, and kind support ! It truly means so much to me. I am beyond excited to share with you the next part of my professional journey! I have learned so much in the last 2 years of being a therapist and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to take my care to the next level. I am excited to announce that the beginning of April I will be seeing appointments as an Independent Therapist inside A New You Wellness located right in Downtown Stroudsburg . This location is right off Sarah Street with off street parking! My books are now open for scheduling, I will have availability almost every day of the week with varying times and alternating saturdays. I will be offering a variety of Bodywork services which include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Prenatal, etc. More details to come in the next few weeks! A little about me and the super cool job that i do!! My name is Megan Aroniss, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist from Stroudsburg, PA . I attended school at the Massage Academy of the Poconos and graduated/earned my board certification in 2023. I enjoy applying more of a clinical feel massage with a wide range of tools/techniques which include cupping, Graston Technique Tools, hot stones, table stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, etc. I started off my LMT journey back in 2022, I am also a Certified Nurses Aide and have been since 2015. Taking care of people has always been the most purposeful for me. Leaving people feeling better than when I found them always made me feel so accomplished and that I was doing what I was meant to do in life. So I knew there had to be more I can do than just in the realm of healthcare. I had a friend who worked at the Massage Academy and informed me of a new semester coming up in a few weeks. This felt like a new door opening, and the perfect opportunity to really utilize my caretaking ambitions. I attended the Massage Academy of the Poconos and passed my Mblex exam in November 2023. Since then I have been blessed to help so many new people and really fill my life with so much purpose with this career move. 2026, I only plan to continue to grow as a therapist and help my community as much as I can relieve body aches, pain, and stress.
