Gluco Lodge Personal Care Home is family owned and run, licensed personal care community. Our home is nestled in the scenic Cherry Valley of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. Our quiet, peaceful, yet energentic home is located just ten minutes from Pocono Medical Center, about 15 minutes from St. Luke's Monroe Campus, and a short driving distance from many of the Pocono Mountain area attractions including fine dining, mall shopping, and family entertainment. Our vision at Gluco Lodge, is to create a community where seniors can live and practice a healthy lifestyle. To make this vision a reality we provide assitance, support, and education for all of our residence and their families. Our family has over thirty-five years of experience in the long-term health care industry and is continually expanding it's horizons. We have been offering exceptional services for over 24 years in the current location of Monroe County. Our newly constructed 51-bed home allows us to provide concentrated care for persons with diabetic health concerns but not exclusively. We focus on creating and developing individual care programs and assisting residents in learning how to manage their condition. This, in turn, fosters greater independence and dignity as they continue to meet with life's challenges. We take pride in personal care and personal attention. Our fully furnished rooms provide and easy move-in experience, but all residents are encouraged to bring their own personal belongings to ensure that their rooms are the most comfortable environment/are in fact their own.
