Boundless Yoga Studios in Stroudsburg PA is dedicated to safe and accessible yoga classes led by the area's most inspiring and highly qualified yoga educators. We seek to create a community of diversified yet like minded individuals committed to honestly seeking truth within them. Boundless Yoga strives to be much more than a space to unroll yoga mats and get a good workout. Knowledgeable instructors and professionals lead a diverse sangha, or community, through a variety of activities, including hatha yoga practice and workshops, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, chanting, exploration of thoughtful and philosophical texts, outdoor yoga retreats, and more.

🍂 Fall is the season of release 🍂

We hear it all the time: “Let go of what doesn’t serve you.” But how? How do we release if we’re not grounded, if our roots feel shaky in the shifting winds of change?

This Thursday begins round two of 5 Element Zen Flow w/ Fallon Horan. We’ll tap into the steady, nurturing energy of Earth, finding stability and support so letting go becomes possible, gentle, and intentional.

The cycle will continue, though a 5 week a journey through the elements that guides your body, mind, and energy with each practice: Earth to ground, Metal to release, Water to flow, Wood to grow, Fire to expand.

Cheryl is a graduate of the Boundless 200 hr program and is close to the completion of her advanced 300 hr YTT program! She is also a mental health counselor. DAY # 9 Crow Pose Challenge: 40 Seconds

Tip: Engage your Bandhas!
The bandhas used in crow are Hasta Bandha- the lock of the hand, Mulabandha- the engagement of the pelvic floor, and Uddiyana Bandha- the upward lift of the belly. The engagement of these diaphragmatic muscular sections help to cultivate lightness and lift.

Tip: consistency! The whole point of a challenge is to maintain consistency in practice. We only get results when we practice consistently, overtime, and with focus.

Day #8 Crow Pose Challenge: 35 second hold or practice.

Tip: Pull your knees towards your underarms (thigh flexion). The action of pulling them in helps to keep them on the back of the arms. The more you round the back the higher you can get the knees, and this is generally more comfortable than resting near the elbows.
