Good Shepherd joined with our colleagues at GSPP Rehabilitation to co-sponsor the 2025 Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA) Conference in Lancaster. Clinical experts from both organizations attended and also participated in sharing their expertise with attendees.

Speech-language pathologist Marina LoBaido of Good Shepherd's Blandon outpatient site and physical therapist Laura VanArsdale of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital attended; Laura presented a poster on community reintegration for brain injury patients.

BIAPA is designed for professionals, survivors, family members, caregivers and volunteers. This year’s annual conference theme focused on “Celebrating an Empowered Brain Injury Community.”

📢 We are proud to welcome eight new residents from the Temple University Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation.

Residents began orientation earlier this month, where they received a warm welcome from Good Shepherd’s Physician Group, got to know one another and learned more about Good Shepherd.

This is the fourth year of Good Shepherd’s collaboration with Temple. The program matches future physiatrists — doctors who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation — for a categorical training program at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Center Valley, featuring inpatient and outpatient programs.
