Sight for All United’s (SFAU) mission is to lift barriers to quality vision care. By envisioning a world in which every person is able to reach their fullest vision potential, SFAU, since its founding in 2016, has helped over 5,000 people receive eye exams, glasses, contacts, and surgeries through its Vision Van, low vision support, and medical referral programs.

In case you missed it: The OhioSEE program has been approved in the state budget, and it was modeled directly on the vision care work we've been doing right here in the Mahoning Valley! This is a tremendous validation of what we've accomplished together over the past nine years.

The OhioSEE program will be implemented by the Ohio Department of Health and will provide comprehensive vision screenings for K-3 students throughout Ohio's schools. When children are identified as needing vision correction, the program will ensure they receive eye exams and glasses at no cost to their families, removing the financial barriers that have prevented many children from getting the vision care they need.
