🥗 Have you heard about the newly released U.S. food pyramid?
Earlier this month, the federal government unveiled updated Dietary Guidelines for Americans that include a reintroduced food pyramid — a visual many of us haven’t seen in over a decade. This pyramid emphasizes eating “real foods,” prioritizing protein, dairy, vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats, and urging people to limit highly processed foods and added sugars.
With so many nutrition approaches out there — from carnivore to plant-focused diets — it can be confusing to know what’s truly best for health.
