StuartLife - The City of Stuart, Florida will have a full schedule of fun in Downtown Stuart, including:

From 4:30 to 8 p.m., the kiddos can enjoy games, face painting, and tons of activities in Flagler Park.

Bring your appetite! Eight food trucks—four in Flagler Park and four near the Riverwalk Stage—will serve up tasty eats for all.

Then, let the good vibes roll with live music by the Miss Melinda Elena Band from 7–10:15 p.m. on the Riverwalk Stage, sponsored by Stuart Main Street and Downtown Stuart Florida.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the 4th without a sky-shattering fireworks finale! Light up your night with friends, family, and community cheer. Fireworks blast off at 9 p.m.!

Join us for a day of community celebration, and summer fun as we salute a century of Martin County memories. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

You may notice some construction in and around Downtown Stuart in the upcoming weeks. This work will be to transition the downtown area to Underground Utilities, much needed and appreciated!

This may result in StuartWe**am downtime while the transition is completed. Hopefully the downtime will be minimal.

Latest update from the City of Stuart...

POST-HURRICANE MILTON UPDATE #1 - Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 - 12:15 p.m.

If possible, avoid US 1. Many traffic lights have no power. Lights out at Wright Blvd and US1; and West Ocean and US1.

Garbage pickup will resume tomorrow.

Crews will begin picking up vegetation beginning Saturday.

City offices are closed today, however, if your grinder system needs power, notify the city at (772) 288-5317, choose OPTION 3.

ROAD CLOSURES:

(1) Partial closure of Confusion Corner due to low power line.
(2) Osceola 400 & 500 block due to large, downed tree.

REPORTED DAMAGES:

(1) All railroad crossing arms damaged. FEC has been notified.
(2) Multiple power lines and poles are down or broken.
(3) Sunset Bay Marina: one boat sunk, one boat loose and pushed against private dock. City of Stuart Public Safety boat lift damaged.

Just checked DT Stuart. Power still out (8:30am). Lots of smaller trees down, as well as large branches. East Osceola in front of hospital in two areas blocked by fallen trees.
Looks like crossing bars bent at Confusion Corner.
