Josseline Keity Fitness It's not about going on a diet or restricting yourself. It never dawned on me that I could actually change my life for good. Stay Strong,

Josseline Keity

It's about creating goals, understanding your behaviors, and making a lifestyle change || Its All About The Lifestyle. After many years of yo-yo dieting, I finally learned the secret to maintaining my ideal physique and body weight. I always thought that going on a diet would help me reach my goals and keep me there but It never worked that way. In fact, I got comfortable knowing my weight-loss was temporary and that I'd eventually let myself go once again. It wasn't until I committed to the idea of being a healthier and happier version of myself that I was able to get the weight off and keep it off. . The more I learned and experienced, the more I wanted to maintain the lifestyle I created. By setting small goals and changing my habits, I was able to create a life I never thought was possible. I learned to fall in love with fitness and realized that challenging myself in the gym was pouring into other aspects in my life. It not only changed me physically, but it also changed me mentally. Training has taught me patience, determination, courage, and most of all, confidence. Confidence in knowing I can do anything I put my mind to. As my passion for health and fitness continues to grow, I want to help people make permanent changes as well, so we can all reap the benefits of healthy living. I believe in creating a balanced life by making small changes that eventually turn into habits. As a Health Coach, I am trained in behavioral modification, weight management, and fitness programming. I am focused on preserving health while preventing illness. I am here to reinforce the notion of using food and fitness as medicine. Through my content, I intend to spread the message that we can all stay strong with just a little more effort and motivation in our daily lives.

🍁HAPPY first day of September! Drafting some goals for the month. I’m usually not this organized 😅 but the change in seasons is a major motivator to get my s**t together.

🤍 They say when you share your goals, your more likely to achieve them. Feel free to leave them in the comments. I’d love to hear what you guys are up to these days!

✨hold the breath in for 4
✨inhale for 8
✨Exhale for 8
✨hold the breath out for 4

🤍Great for releasing anxious feelings and finding balance in your energy. Save and give it a try!

🎄Happy holidays! I know how hard it is to control our eating habits during the holidays so here are a few ways to make things easier (these tips can be applied all year round 😉);

#1 🥗 Eat BEFORE you go: eat something healthy before the party to avoid overeating.

#2 👩‍🍳 Bring your own food: Make your own healthy dish to create a balance for yourself and others. Some will appreciate it 😉.

#3 🍸 Be mindful of drinks: Those drink calories do sneak up on you! ✨Avoid the extra sugar by subbing juice with club soda and lime.

#4 🍽 Use a small plate: we tend to fill up our plates when they’re bigger so using smaller ones automatically decreases our portions and helps control eating.

#5 😌 Take Breaks- It can take up to 20 minutes for our bodies to feel full. Put your fork down after every couple bites. ✨Listen to your senses and put the food away when your body tells you it’s had enough.

🎄Tis the season...to stuff our faces, pour liquor down our throats, and forget about this long f**kin year 🥂.

🎄Holiday parties are around the corner and even if they are virtual, you KNOW we’ll still be drinking and eating A LOT 🍫.

💫 SO...LETS set some REALISTIC health resolutions for December!

⛄️Here are 3 tips to STAY healthy during the holidays 🎁!

#1 💦 HYDRATE: H20 is our BFF! It helps reduce bloating, puffiness, and normalizes our digestive tracts. If NOTHING ELSE, at least drink water.

#2 🥗Get back to your healthy routine ASAP-Don’t wait until January. The faster you get back to it, the EASIER it is! If you have left overs, EAT THEM lol. ✨But aim for ONE healthy meal throughout the day.

#3 Positive self talk-❌ ABSOLUTELY NO TALKING DOWN to ourselves. ❄️ It makes it harder to stay focused on what’s important. Come up with a positive mantra to use for those moments. 💚 My fave; “it’s okay, LIFE HAPPENS”.

😘 FEEL FREE to share your holiday health tips below so we can all be GREAT & THRIVE into 2021!

✨Self care is NOT selfish~ it’s OKAY to take time to meet your needs.

🥗 Self Care can be the best foundation for healthy eating habits. In relation to food and wellness, neglecting ourselves can cause disruption in our bodies and in our eating patterns.

🌸 Its important to remember that everyone’s self care looks different depending on their needs. 🌳Going outside, meditation, and dancing helps me stay grounded and reduce anxiety.

👉🏽With everything, find things that work best FOR YOU AND YOUR NEEDS.

💫Don’t just copy and paste other’s routines. EXPLORE what your needs are and experiment with new activities 🙌🏽.
