Children Aren’t Just Small Adults

Pediatric orthopaedic conditions are different because children’s bones, joints, and muscles are still growing and developing. Growth plates, bone structure, and healing patterns require specialized knowledge to ensure injuries are treated properly and long-term development isn’t affected.

Our pediatric orthopaedic team understands the unique needs of infants, children, and teens, providing careful evaluation, age-appropriate treatment, and reassurance for families every step of the way.

Wondering if EPAT Therapy Could Help with Your Foot or Ankle Pain?

Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology (EPAT)—also known as shockwave therapy—is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment that uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate natural healing in conditions like plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. Patients typically undergo 3–5 quick 10–15 minute sessions over a few weeks, often experiencing reduced pain and improved function without surgery or downtime. Over 80% of patients treated report significant pain relief and improved mobility—making EPAT a powerful option if you’re still struggling after trying traditional therapies.

What Is the Fluoroscopy Suite?

Our Fluoroscopy Suite uses real-time imaging—similar to a moving X-ray—to guide pain management procedures with exceptional accuracy. This advanced technology allows our specialists to see exactly where treatment is needed, helping deliver injections precisely to the source of pain while minimizing impact to surrounding tissue.

Fluoroscopy is commonly used for procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation, improving both safety and effectiveness. By enhancing precision, fluoroscopy-guided care can lead to better outcomes and faster relief for patients dealing with spine, joint, or nerve-related pain.

✋ What’s Causing Hand & Wrist Discomfort? ✋

Hand and wrist discomfort often develops gradually, especially with repetitive motions like typing, texting, or using tools throughout the day. Overuse can strain the tendons and joints, while aging, past injuries, or new trauma may also contribute to ongoing pain or stiffness.

Some of the most common causes include tendonitis, arthritis, nerve-related conditions, and other medical issues that affect the hand and wrist. If discomfort persists or begins to interfere with daily activities, early evaluation can help prevent symptoms from worsening.
