"The Landmark Center

Welcome to Our Community
The Landmark Center was designed for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) but wishing to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Assisted living exists to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes. Residents are not able to fully live by themselves but do not require constant care ei

ther. We offer help with ADL's such as eating, bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, and assistance with medications."

The Stuart Rotary Club hosted the most delightful tea party for our residents—and they truly went all out. From start to finish, it was a proper tea party done right. Thank you to the Rotary Club for the time, care, and effort that made our residents feel so special. ☕🌸

Storytelling with prompts always leads to the best surprises! For Community Art and Tell a Story Day, Norma kicked things off with a simple (and unexpected) prompt—a dried‑up orange 🍊. One story quickly turned into many more, along with plenty of memories, laughs, and creativity. Proof that even the smallest things can spark the biggest stories!

ou never know what craft Belle is going to dream up next. This week’s project was no exception—and no two creations turned out the same. That’s part of the fun!

Thanks to Martha, residents got to try out her grandson’s dart game—complete with darts and tomahawks. 🎯 It took a little convincing at first, but once everyone jumped in, the competition was on. Somewhere along the way, a few well‑timed “HIYAH!” shouts entered the mix—and wouldn’t you know it, aim noticeably improved. 😄 Good thing all throws were aimed at a target, because we definitely witnessed some bold and unique throwing techniques. After many rounds, a winner emerged… along with plenty of laughs.

Lynn brought puppies back for another visit 🐶🐕, and as always, the residents were thrilled. A few residents immediately began working on creative plans to “accidentally” keep a puppy or two— and with each visit, those plans seem to get cleverer and more creative 😉. It’s also amazing how quickly both staff and residents manage to appear once word gets out that puppies are in the building 🦴🐾🐶. Thank you to Lynn for organizing another wonderful visit and bringing so much joy (and laughter) with her puppies ❤️

Ronnie Hall stopped by for his usual monthly visit with a friend, and—no surprise—we had a full room! Our residents love hearing him play, and if they had their way, he’d be on the schedule every week.
