Welcome to Our Community
The Landmark Center was designed for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) but wishing to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Assisted living exists to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes. Residents are not able to fully live by themselves but do not require constant care either. We offer help with ADL's such as eating, bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, and assistance with medications."

Every other month, the Patrick County Retired Teachers stop by The Landmark to share their voices and their smiles—and we couldn’t be happier to have them. Their visits are always a treat, filled with music, laughter, and a few familiar faces that residents haven’t seen in a while. It’s not just the singing that brings joy—it’s the connection, the memories, and maybe even a little bit of toe-tapping. We’re grateful for their time and the warmth they bring with every visit.

At The Landmark, residents are provided with absentee ballots for each election, ensuring they can still participate even if they’re unable to travel to the polls. Each month, Lynn Regan delights our residents with a visit with some adorable puppies. Her monthly visits are always a highlight, often featuring a brand-new litter for everyone to meet and cuddle. She has even mentioned that she might bring kittens next time! This month was extra special—not only did Lynn stop by, but Zoe, Krista Wagoner’s daughter, who works here, also brought in several goldendoodle puppies from a litter of ten! There’s truly nothing like seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces when they’re surrounded by playful, fluffy pups.
