Our Story
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Martin County offers a bi-monthly Family Support Group for friends and family of individuals with mental illness, classes and events and connectionsn with a twice-weekly peer support group for persons with mental illness. NAMI also offers a non-crisis resource line: NAMI Helpline is a free service that provides information, referrals and support to people living with a mental health condition, family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. The NAMI HelpLine can be reached Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., ET. The number is 1-800-950-NAMI (6264).
