We are honored to share this special day with Sheriff John Budensiek, Senator Gayle Harrell, Stuart Police Chief Flamur Zenelovic, Commissioner Stacey Hetherington, Captain Jennifer Perkins and Shirley Rearick with American Legion Post 62. We couldn’t have done this without the hundreds of volunteers that came out as well! Thank you all for honoring our veterans and please save the date for next year-12/19/2026!

Thank you to ALL the volunteers that came out this morning! I’m sure I’ll miss some of the groups but taged are a few that helped!
I also know we have the Girl Scouts from Stuart Martin here as well as the Italian Riders. We can’tdo it without you all helping.

Freedom has a cost—and you can see it etched in stones across the country. Each name on a headstone tells a story of courage, sacrifice, and service.

But too many heroes have no one left to visit their graves or say their names aloud. That’s why Wreaths Across America exists: to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served, and Teach the next generation the value of our freedom.

This incredible effort is made possible by many generous supporters who believe in our mission. In fact, you’re already connected to it, since someone has placed a wreath on your behalf or given one as a gift.

On Saturday, December 13, at 12pm millions of volunteers will gather at cemeteries nationwide to lay wreaths and speak each veteran’s name. You can be part of this powerful mission by sponsoring a veteran's wreath and to be part of this mission at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.

Come join us on Saturday, May 24th at 8:30 AM. Each year we place flags on all of our veterans spaces just prior to Memorial Day to honor those who have served! Always a huge thank you to the American Legion Post 62 for making this possible.
