Last weekend I ran the Gate River Run in Jacksonville with 17,000 other racers.

Lining up with that many people is a powerful reminder that growth happens when you push yourself to do hard things. The race wasn’t easy — but that’s exactly the point.

The same lesson applies to health and weight loss. You don’t have to run races, but you do have to be willing to challenge yourself. Changing habits, showing up consistently, making better choices… none of that is always easy. But it’s how real progress happens.
