Lara Weithorn - Advanced Myofascial Release Therapist

Lara Weithorn - Advanced Myofascial Release Therapist Specializing in MFR techniques, I use sustained pressures and gentle, yet deep-reaching, stretches to release restrictions in the fascial system. Barnes.

www.MFRbacktherapy.com Myofascial Release Approach™ (MFR) helps restore the body to health, so it can move and function with ease; giving you more energy and vitality! As fascial strain patterns let go, range of motion and function returns. The pain related to both chronic and acute conditions eases. MFR can help a wide variety of issues from headaches, TMJ, rotator cuff, and carpal tunnel; to injuries, scar tissue, joint replacements; to fibromyalgia, and much, much more! I've helped athletes looking to improve their flexibility, balance, stamina and strength; camera operators with frozen shoulder; and desk-jockeys seeking relief from too much time hunched over the computer. MFR eases pain and enhances wellness by addressing the fascial system. It utilizes the principles developed by physical therapist, John F.

I work with a LOT of clients to relieve TMJ and other teeth/jaw issues. I know teeth/mouth guards help some with pain and tightness, and do help protect teeth, but not everyone has success with them. Here's an interesting alternative perspective.

"Touch still remains important and vital to health and well being even whilst we physically distancing ourselves during this pandemic. Here are some important take-aways from this helpful article:

"Field is hoping that staying at home will actually mean more touching. Give your loved ones a back rub, Field suggests, and if you're living alone during this period, then touch yourself.

We know that moving the skin is critical for health reasons. Moving the skin puts the body into a more relaxed state. The vagal activity in the brain increases and that slows the heart rate and lowers stress hormones, and that can even, in the long run, kill bacterial, viral and cancer cells," she said."

People around the world have been breaking government advice to stay at home and practice social distancing. Here's why we humans find it so hard to stay away from one another, and this is what we can do about it.
