Dr. Jasmine Yun is board-certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology and is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at USC Keck School of Medicine. A native Angeleno, Dr. Yun attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies in biology for which she received a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors. She went on to receive a joint MD/MBA degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
She served as chief dermatology resident at MLK-Harbor and Harbor-UCLA and completed her subspecialty dermatopathology fellowship at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York, NY, working closely with Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman, a pioneer in the microscopic diagnosis of skin cancer and disease. Dr. Yun has devoted much of her time teaching resident physicians and participating in medical missions to developing countries, including Afghanistan and Mexico. She has won multiple teaching awards and has published peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters in dermatology textbooks with an emphasis in skin of color.
