Welcome to The Eye Doc LLC located in the Old Sturbridge Village plaza adjacent to Studio 20/20. We are an open access eye care practice dedicated to providing quality visual and eye health services. You will meet with Dr. Mantelli one on one for the entirety of your evaluation. She will provide education and recommendations that are suited to you. In a fast- paced, electronic world sometimes all you need is a provider who will listen and take the time to get things right. What does open access mean? Open access means that you do not have to have a specific health insurance to see Dr. Mantelli. The Eye Doc LLC does not accept medical or vision health insurance as a form of payment at this time. Exam fees are competitive, yet affordable. Payment is due on the day of service and an itemized receipt can be provided for you to submit to your insurance towards your Out-Of-Network benefits. Q. Will I be dilated ? Dr. Mantelli recommends a dilated ocular health exam for all new patients. Established patients will have a dilation schedule based on Dr. Mantelli's recommendations. So bring your sunglasses, expect for your eyes to be a little more light sensitive for a few hours, and expect for your near vision to be blurry for about an hour after the eye drops are instilled. Is my glasses prescription included in my eye exam? Yes, a glasses Rx with pupillary distance valid for 1 year is provided at every comprehensive exam at no additional fee.

Office update:
We are still temporarily closed due to the damage from the fire next door. We still do not have a reopening date, but are hopeful for July 🤞🏻 Thank you for your patience 🤍

As many of you already know, there was a fire at 371 Main St. this morning. This is home to my business, The Thai Place, and Saw Dust Coffee House & Dessert Bar. No one was injured in the fire as it occurred before any of our businesses had opened for the day.

I appreciate each and every one of you that has reached out and offered support. Unfortunately, Studio 20/20 will be closed until further notice. I can still be reached via phone, email, Facebook message or text if you need me. I will try my best to handle any of your eyeglass and vision needs remotely.

In order to provide you with more personalized care, we do not work directly with insurance as it causes unnecessary barriers in the doctor-patient relationship.

By removing the middleman we can keep our overhead low; no need to hire additional staff just to make sure we get reimbursed by insurance.

We understand that your family spends a lot of money on health insurance so we can provide a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

You can still use your insurance for other medical expenses including medications, labs and imaging.
