This past Tuesday night was the perfect reminder of why I shop small every chance I get.

I ran into Fabiolla from fab_fitbody_coach at the grocery store—who also happens to be my fitness and nutrition coach. Without hesitation (and totally off the clock), she took time to share meal tips to make my journey a little easier. That’s care you don’t find on an aisle endcap.

A few aisles later, I bumped into Pete, the owner of sawdustcoffeehouse and best matcha destination. We caught up on life and business, and it was just genuinely good to connect.

Then I headed to Monroe’s on Mane to see theamericanbrunette. Yes, she’s guiding me through my gray hair journey—but our appointments are so much more than hair. They’re about family updates, business chats, book recommendations, and real conversation.

This is why I shop small.
These are the people who take time.
The people who care.
The people who build relationships—not just transactions.

Meet the Optician

Meet your optician, Erica O’Brien. She is a third generation optician, and holds her ABO advanced certification, NCLE certification, along with her CT and MA optician’s license. Erica has a passion for eyewear! She loves frame design, but her nerdy side really loves learning all about the math and science behind the lens design and coating technologies.

Since Studio 20/20 is an independent retail optical shop, many of the products found at the studio are also from independent companies. If you are looking for something unique, well designed and crafted, with outstanding optics, Studio 20/20 is the place for you. All you need to is a current eyeglass prescription from the eye doctor of your choice to get started! Call (774) 241-0718 to schedule an appointment or stop in the studio during normal business hours. Appointments are available outside of normal business hours if arranged in advance.
