Isn’t it ironic? We’re stressed because we’re busy… and we’re too busy to de-stress.

Slow, mindful movement creates awareness. Awareness creates release. And that release is where stress and anxiety begin to loosen their grip.

That’s what we do. 💛

Join me on Tuesdays and give yourself permission to slow down.

Can’t make it? I'm also scheduling 1:1 and small group experiences tailored just for you.

Your nervous system will thank you.

Flow for Good: A Community Giving Series 🤲
I am excited to share 'Flow for Good,' a new series of donation-based yoga classes that directly benefit local causes!🧘‍♀️✨

Our first fundraiser in this series will be on Saturday, March 21 @ 9 AM, at Bayhaven Yoga in Sturgeon Bay. On that day, we are focusing our energy on our four-legged friends! All proceeds from this session will benefit the Door County Campus - Wisconsin Humane Society, helping them provide essential care, shelter, and second chances for animals in our community. 🐾 ❤️ 🐕‍🦺 🐈‍⬛
Come move, breathe, and give back—because a truly resilient community looks out for everyone (even the ones with paws).
Please pre-register so we can better plan for the space available. (link in comments) Can't practice? You can still support - see below!

Interoception: The "Sixth Sense" for Stress Relief 🧠

We all know the five senses that help us navigate the world outside, but we also have a "sixth sense" called interoception. This is the ability to perceive the internal state of your body—like your heart rate, breath, or the subtle tensing of a muscle.

In a world of constant stress, many of us survive by "tuning out" these internal signals. But when we lose touch with these signals, we lose our ability to calm ourselves.

Why this matters for your health:

Catch Stress Early: When you improve interoception, you notice the moment your shoulders tighten or your breath shallows. You can intervene before it becomes a headache or a pain flare-up.

Signal Safety: Slow, mindful movement creates a "body-map" for the brain. The repetitive movement combined with mindful breathing can be very calming because it offers predictably and a sense of control; it allows the nervous system to let go, moving you out of "fight-or-flight" and into recovery.

Manage Pain: You cannot regulate what you cannot feel. Strengthening this mind-body connection is a clinically backed way to reduce chronic stiffness and anxiety.

True mobility isn't just about stretching muscles; it’s about retraining your nervous system to return to a state of ease.
