Better late than never, right? Here is a compilation of photos from Module V of the Fall 2025 VSMT class that concluded on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Every class has its personality, and this class demonstrated its humor as well as its dedication to taking the Healing Oasis directed VSMT knowledge to better their patients. The flag they designed and presented to Dr. Pedro Rivera embraced the “be an orange in a bowl full of apples” Healing O mantra!! Congratulations to each and every member of this class. Like it or not, you are part of the Healing O family. Do yourselves proud.

Module 5 is the final module for the 2025 Fall VSMT class. They are having fun, learning, practicing, and putting into action the information that has been provided over the previous 4 modules. They even had sticker tattoos made!! Being an orange in a bowl of apples makes you stand out in the best way possible, so be an orange!🍊

It’s said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, Dr. Rivera was sincerely flattered when day 4 of Module IV of the Fall 2025 VSMT post graduate program started out… 😆
After that it was a busy day with Q&A, canine techniques, student case presentations with discussions, and then getting to work with adoptable dogs at Woof Gang Rescue!

WOW! Day 3 (Friday) of the 2025 Fall VSMT post graduate Module IV included some extra-special opportunities for the students. The class had previously requested getting to work with (in addition to the usual dogs and horses).... wait for it... goats! We always TRY to include opportunities to make the class as interesting as possible to the majority of those present, so, goats, as well as horses (and a stray cat ("bob") that shuffled in...). In addition the day started with presenting additional VSMT techniques for horses (dogs are the focus on Saturday), Q & A (no Q, no A 😆), class discussions on canine and equine lameness from a neuroanatomical point of view, and presentation on entrapment syndromes. Wow, for sure!

We’ve been exceptionally busy the past two days with the start of Module IV of the Fall 2025 VSMT Post Graduate program! We all love our small lab groups that have a ratio of 2 to 3 students and a faculty instructor for each group! This truly allows for a lot of hands-on experience and individual instruction. We also have fun while learning!
