Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care to our clients, ensuring dignity and preserving quality of life. Meet Nicole, she is our dedicated Activities Director 💛👩‍⚕️
Right after high school, she set her heart on this path — learning from experienced directors and growing through years of training 🎓🌟

Nicole is committed to bringing joy, love, and high-quality care to our residents every single day 🤗💞
For her, being an Activities Director is more than just a job… it’s a meaningful opportunity to help inspire, connect, and create memorable moments for all of our residents 🎨✨

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family 👨‍👩‍👧, sipping on fine wine 🍷, cuddling with her dog Oakley 🐶, and planning special events for all of our residents 🎉

We are so grateful to have her on our Merry Heart team 🙌❤️

Today we are showing how we safely transfer a resident from a wheelchair to the bed — knowing how to properly transfer can also help with preventing falls

These small details make a big difference in rehabilitation💛
✔️ Clear the area for safety
✔️ Lock wheelchair & bed brakes
✔️ Adjust the height of the bed to support proper body mechanics if needed
✔️ Use non-slip footwear
✔️ Standing, pivoting, and lowering with control
✔️ Communicating every step to ensure comfort & confidence

Last week, our Director of Business Development Daisy Badillo, Jennifer Morato the Executive Director of our Assisted Living, and Bonny Rodel our Wellness Nurse, were honored to attend the Roxbury Library Foundation Gala ✨ We are so grateful for this partnership and feel honored to be part of a community that values learning and connection.

We are looking forward to continuing working & supporting them. We are also super excited about our upcoming collaboration project! Stay tune for more details!!
