TCS International is excited to announce the successful completion of our latest Parking Guidance Project in San Jose, CA!
The parking structure of this newly built state-of-the-art 19-story commercial building is equipped with proprietary TCS International technology monitoring parking availability on the four floors of the garage.
Using our Ultrasonic Directional Sensors at the garage entries and exits as well as on the internal ramp system and our newly released RGB IP65 TUS-300 single space sensors to monitor special circumstance spaces including ADA, EV, and clean air spaces, allows for individual space detection in combination with our level counting solution.
Guiding drivers to available parking spaces with an array of strategically located dynamic signs effectively reduces cruising in search of an empty space thus significantly reducing noise and air pollution!
We’ve seen this type of mixed counting approach increase over the last few years, as it provides flexibility for individual special circumstance space counts in conjunction with our tried and tested budget friendly Level Count Solution.
Our Mixed-Type PGS Solution is industry leading in terms of accuracy and low maintenance, which has led this client to purchase multiple systems from TCS International.

A New Year, a New PGS System! We have just completed our customized wayfinding solution implementation for the City of Austin. Drivers entering the city will find a series of strategically placed roadway signs showing parking availability for multiple city-owned garages. This will greatly reduce the time drivers spend searching for available parking and will lessen the emissions impact on the environment. TCS International is proud to have been selected as the provider of a custom Parking Guidance Solution for two Veterans Affairs Hospital garages in Florida.
TCS’ North American-made, IP 65 rated, ultrasonic single space sensors are installed at the entry of each of the 2,500+ parking spaces in the two garages, detecting space occupancy with the highest level of accuracy. The highly visible LED lights make it easy for drivers to quickly identify available spaces, reducing the time spent looking for an open space. Additionally, our sensors have RGB capability allowing for any color LED indication (i.e., different colors for EV charging, ADA spaces or reserved paces, etc.).
Custom designed dynamic signs are located at garage entry points, in-between levels, and at decision making points throughout the garages clearly indicating where to find available spaces.
Our PGS system greatly reduces congestion during shift changes for staff, and most importantly provides VA patients with a stress-free experience finding available parking prior to their visit.
TCS International has installed systems in many VA Hospitals throughout the continental US and Puerto Rico, making us one of the premier providers of PGS systems for the VA.

TCS International is excited to bring back our Parking Guidance System at one of the World’s largest Federal Government building in DC. Staff working remote for the past few years due to the pandemic have made their way back to the office.
The TCS system provides information to the users as to the available spaces on each of the 4 levels in both garages supporting this facility. Using our USDS (ultra-sonic directional) sensors at entry and exit points as well as the internal ramp system gives the operator accurate counts throughout the working day. A VMS insert in the signs allow for user messages to assist with the parking experience.

TCS International has continued to support one of the USA’s largest Hospital Campus’s located in the State of Florida. The latest system install will support just over 1600 parking spaces spread out over 11 floors. The predominant use will be for employees working in the adjacent Hospital building slated to open later this year.
TCS has installed our TUS 300 ultra-sonic single space sensor located at the entry to each parking space. The RGB color ability of the sensor allows for the Hospital to assign designated colors to specialized user groups beyond the conventional GREEN/RED. ADA, EV, RESERVED all will have a unique color assignment.
Beyond just the master sign at entry showing the space available on each floor, TCS has installed over 70 internal signs showing spaces available and location by way of a programmable arrow.
This will mark the 7th garage done on this Campus by TCS International since 2008.

As we see more and more employers ask their work force return to in-office presence the need for PARKING GUIDANCE systems has increased tremendously in 2022. Our latest successful installation is a Federal Government building in Washington DC. The first garage was equipped with a TCS International “level counting solution” pre-pandemic, and the first quarter of 2022 saw the addition of a second system at a newly constructed 4-level garage supporting staff and visitor parking.
 
TCS International deployed our USDS (ultrasonic directional sensors ) at the entry and exit points of the garage along with the internal ramp system. Master signs at entry show the drivers how many spaces are available on each of the 4 levels prior to entering the garage allowing for an informed decision where best to park. Strategically placed interior signs on the ramps show the availability on that floor along with the accumulated total on levels above. This installation uses our proprietary “wireless communication design” reducing the amount of communication cable and conduit needed and thus providing a reduction in civil costs.
 
Employees now can get parked and on their way to the office without the “headache” of circulating the garage looking for a space. This creates less stress, increases productivity, and allows for a much friendlier parking experience.

TCS International expands its portfolio by adding a valuable vehicle data and counting solution through our partner, MISTALL.
Surface parking supporting a Transit Parking facility for those commuters going into the city.

Camera images allow the operator to track the dwell time of vehicles staged in the pick-up area, buses in the queue, and the all day long term parking lots.

Regardless of the orientation of the vehicles not necessarily following the striping plan allows the capture of all information.

TCS International just made it easier to find available parking in the State Capital of Texas.
Taking space availability counts and posting on dynamic signs at the garage will show the user the number of available spaces inside.
TCS International has worked closely with the City and has provided a 'WAY FINDING' solution by placing 5 strategically placed signs that show the user options at KEY decision points when entering the City core.
The TCS system allows for the counts to be exported to many City selected third parties such as smart phone apps or websites.
