New England Therapy Center offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, and social skills groups We serve Sudbury and the surrounding communities.

New England Therapy Center (formerly Sudbury Speech and Language Therapy, SSLT) is a pediatric practice offering speech therapy, feeding therapy, and occupational therapy. We primarily serve pediatric patients with a variety of disorders and needs. Therapy is provided in a clinical setting where patients receive individualized, 1:1 treatment. Parent education takes place following each treatment session. We accept most major insurance carriers.

Many of our speech and OT kids had the opportunity to plant their very own lettuce seeds.

This is a great activity to target many OT & language goals including:
🥬 Sequencing
🥬 Following multi-step directions
🥬 Fine motor coordination & strength
🥬 Describing
🥬 ADLs
🥬 Tactile experience

For the first time at NETC we will be hosting a parent support night, which will be hosted by our very own Peg Beck, LICSW. We are hoping this parent night will be the first of many, each with a different topic! This month's meeting topic will be Discussing Important Subjects with Our Children. We look forward to welcoming you for a wonderful adult only evening of conversation and learning.

Spring has sprung at NETC! We started this season with lots and lots of bubbles! OT Jenna and her friends created these fun bubbles using a water bottle and dish soap.

This activity is great for:
✨ regulation
✨ practicing deep breathing
✨ messy play for tactile sensitivity

To make your own, cut a water bottle in half, put a paper towel around the bottom of the top half of the bottle and secure it with a rubber band, then dip the paper towel into dish soap mixed with water and blow through the top.

NETC craft of the week: we are making jellyfish in the clinic this week! This is an easy activity to target multiple goals and can easily be adapted for most patients.
🪼 Incorporate speech sound goals by writing target words on the tentacles or stickers
🪼 Receptive and expressive language galore! Describing, following directions, making choices, comparing and contrasting, inviting friends to join
🪼 So many fine motor elements can be incorporated- cutting, sticking, gluing, ripping, peeling

Our Story

Sudbury Speech and Language Therapy, LLC is a privately owned speech/language and occupational therapy practice serving the Metrowest Boston area. We primarily serve pediatric patients with a variety of disorders and needs. Therapy is provided in a clinical setting where patients receive individualized, 1:1 treatment. Parent education takes place following each treatment session. Our speech pathologists are state licensed and nationally certified through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) to conduct evaluations, make speech and language disorder diagnoses, and to provide skilled speech and language therapy. Our occupational therapists are state licensed and nationally certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy to provide evaluative and therapeutic occupational therapy services.
