Today the staff and clients at Elder-Well Adult Day Program in Natick enjoyed a delivery of delicious pizzas for lunch, as a way of us saying thank you to them for the work that they do and for being a professional referral partner!

Today we had a change of pace with Chair Zumba led by Life Enrichment Assistant Katelyn. You could feel the energy and it set the mood for the rest of the day!

Today we had the privilege to celebrate a very special couple. Newton and Dolores have been married 72 years!!!

Chef Gary and his team prepared an amazing italian lunch for the couple and their family.

The table setting was perfect, the food was delicious, and the desserts were incredible. We added an extra special surprise with Harpist, Nancy playing beautiful background music!
Several community friends stopped by to with well wishes for the happy couple.

We truly hope that we gave Newton, Dolores, and their family a very special afternoon!

Today was the perfect day to celebrate our amazing frontline staff who are the heart and soul of the Bridges community. The afternoon was filled fun, games, and laughter!
We had cotton candy, popcorn, and juicy watermelon to go along with the games. It’s obvious that “Dunk a Department Head” was by far the most popular game!

Today, our residents came together to celebrate our September birthdays.

We sang familiar songs, clapped our hands, and smiled all afternoon.

We often find joy in music whether it’s dancing or singing along with friends. The rhythms and melodies bring people together, creating shared moments of happiness and connection.

Today was no exception as our residents listened to the amazing music performed by Bill Shontz.

Music is not just a form of entertainment— it’s a way to express emotions, celebrate, and form a sense of belonging.🎷🎷🎹🎹🎤🎤

Today our Senior Advisor Sharon Loveridge, along with Community Liaison Sarah Turcotte, visited the Callahan Center in Framingham to do a flower arranging program with the pariticpants of their Continuing Connections group! We had so much fun and it seems by all the smiles, that they did as well!

Today we had the thrill of hosting our friends from Animal Adventures, who brought along an amazing array of exotic animals, including snakes, bearded dragons, a tortoise, chinchilla, guinea pigs, gecko, and a ferret! 🐢🐍🐀

Our residents had a blast learning about and interacting with these incredible creatures. We discovered some fascinating facts, such as how a small alligator can swim at speeds of up to 20 mph, and how chinchillas have adapted with collapsible skeletons to fit into tight spaces and even bathe in dirt to protect their fur!

It was an unforgettable experience that was not only fun and engaging but also educational and empowering, leaving us all with a renewed sense of wonder and awe for the natural world. 🦎🐢🐍🦡

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! 🍦🍦

Day four of assisted living week brought the sunshine and the Juniper Farms ice cream truck to Bridges for residents and staff today. ☀️☀️☀️

Everyone enjoyed the nostalgic memories of our younger years choosing which ice cream treat to enjoy with our friends. 🍧🍧🍦🍦
