I’ve shared a new blog on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—an approach often considered the gold standard for anxiety and depression, with decades of research supporting its impact on daily functioning and quality of life.

CBT is not about forcing yourself to “think positive.”
It’s about learning to see thoughts more clearly so you can relate to them differently and respond with greater choice.

The blog walks through the core process of CBT:
• noticing unhelpful thought patterns
• gently questioning thoughts with compassion
• making small, realistic changes in behavior that give your brain new information

As I often tell clients:
Don’t believe everything you think.
Just because a thought appears doesn’t mean it’s a fact.

I also talk about how CBT can help with worry that spirals, feeling stuck or on edge, low mood, avoidance, and health-related anxiety.
