April is National Occupational Therapy Month, and we've been honoring the OTs who bring comfort, confidence, and independence to the residents and community members we serve. 📣
Occupational therapy helps people regain functional independence for activities of daily living, like bathing and dressing, while using a clinical model of care. They help with the mechanics of 'how' to do a task and provide support through physical rehabilitation, cognitive retraining, environmental modifications, and adaptive equipment. 🛀
Our OT teams encourage residents to stay engaged in the routines, hobbies, and moments that make life full. Their work is deeply personal, compassionate, and rooted in dignity. We're grateful for their patience and commitment in helping our residents and others thrive! 🌟
