Details and Options:
Medicaid and Medicare Patients: For patients with Medicaid and/or Medicare coverage, we understand the importance of uninterrupted mental health care. We encourage you to contact the number on the back of your insurance card to receive a referral to a new provider who can assist you with your insurance claims. They will guide you through the process and ensure a smooth transition to your new provider.

Commercially Insured Patients and Tricare: If you have commercial insurance or Tricare coverage, you have the option of paying out of pocket for your sessions at Charis Mental Health. After making the payment, you can self-submit your claim for reimbursement directly to your insurance provider. We recommend contacting your insurance company for specific instructions on how to proceed with the reimbursement process.

Support and Assistance: We understand that this change may bring about questions or concerns. Our dedicated team is here to support you throughout this transition. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our office if you have any further inquiries or need assistance in finding a new provider.

I hope this message finds you in good health. I am writing to inform you of an important update regarding Charis Mental Health, LLC. After careful consideration and evaluation, we have made the decision to close our current business and embark on a new venture.

Effective 04/01/2024 we will be closing Charis Mental Health, LLC and transitioning to a new cash-based business named Charis Mental Health + Integrative Care. This decision was made with the aim of providing enhanced personalized care and a more streamlined healthcare experience for our patients.

As a valued patient, we wanted to assure you that this transition will not impact the quality of care you receive. In fact, we believe that this change will allow us to dedicate more time and attention to each patient, ensuring that your healthcare needs are met with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

Our new cash-based business model will enable us to focus solely on delivering exceptional medical services without the restrictions and complexities associated with insurance billing. By eliminating the administrative burden, we can allocate more resources towards patient care, invest in advanced technologies, and offer a wider range of services tailored to your individual needs.

Unfortunately, with a cash-based model, Charis Mental Health + Integrative Care will not be able to provide care to patients insured by Medicare or Medicaid. If you are insured by Medicare or Medicaid, then please schedule an appointment prior to 04/01/2024 for an assessment and medication prescriptions. Please contact your insurance company for a list of covered providers. Our office will forward a copy of your medical records to your new provider at no charge after your signed release form is received.
