The holidays remind us that gratitude grows when shared. Let’s spread joy through caring, lifting up our neighbors in need, and giving. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading cheer, every act of kindness matters and makes a difference.

This season of giving reminds us of God’s abundant blessings.

So, by His grace and provision, we are honored to host another drive-thru distribution to serve our community in His name. It will take place Saturday, December 20, 2025 (11a-1p) at the Sentara BelleHarbour parking lot (3920A Bridge Rod. Veterans, each holiday season, nonprofit Luke’s Wings provides emergency travel planning and airline tickets for wounded, ill, and injured Veterans in recovery and rehabilitation, to help families be together during the holidays.

Luke’s Wings is a nonprofit organization that provides emergency travel planning services and ensures eligible service members and Veterans in treatment, along with their loved ones, can be together during the holidays by offering support with complimentary airline tickets. This campaign offers flights that provide substantial mental, physical, emotional, and financial support, empowering these brave individuals to face and overcome the challenges of their recovery journey.

The “No Service Member Spends the Holidays Alone” campaign is running from Veterans Day through New Year’s.

Please note that VA does not have an official partnership with Luke’s Wings, and eligibility is determined solely by the organization. Feel free to encourage other eligible Veterans and family members to visit this website to learn more or apply for flight assistance.
