I made it out to visit Copper Lodge, where the Solstice in the Saddle Retreat will be held this June… and I have completely fallen in love. ✨

This place is pure magic.

The surrounding beauty is mesmerizing - wide open skies, quiet forest, and the kind of stillness that invites you to breathe deeper and soften into the moment.

Just being there feels incredibly inspiring.

Spending one night simply wasn’t long enough. There is such a deep sense of peace here that you can truly relax into.

Tonight is the night to say good-bye to Aviana offerings at the Torus Center for Integrative Healing in Batavia.

There are still spots available for the rejuvenating 6 pm Restorative Aerial Yoga with Hot Stones 🔥

Did you know that you do not have to be an aerial performer in order to teach aerial yoga?

So much of what is tagged on social media as aerial yoga actually crosses the line into aerial performance which can be misleading. Aerial yoga is very accessible and a wonderful style of yoga that can be led in a way which honors the integrity of a yoga practice through mindfulness and body intelligent sequencing.

I am SO excited to be able to share the Aviana methodology of teaching aerial yoga with you in Saint Augustine Florida at the stunning space of located on a sprawling equestrian property.

This is sure to be an epic weekend together rolling out the second edition of Soaring with the Soul as your new resource to all things aerial yoga, immersing into the fabrics to learn how to confidently lead intentional aerial yoga practices AND being able to connect with the energy of the surrounding horses holding the space of the land.

Well friends, it would seem that's about a wrap for Batavia and Aviana offerings.

In the past 11 years since I've been back in Illinois, I've launched aerial yoga & yoga programming, reiki, sister circles and aerial yoga teacher trainings out of 24 different locations in Illinois, 5 of which were in Batavia.

All 5 of those Batavia locations ultimately were unable to keep their doors open as yoga studios and wellness hubs. Batavia is such a beautiful town and I am grateful to have been able to share experiences with others in so many cool locations that have come and gone beginning with the Salt Escape and now ending with Torus Center for Integrative Healing.

It has been nothing short of a challenge to sustain through doors opening and closing. This time I'm letting all the doors close to do a full reset and redirect in life which I'm still unclear what that will look like in the days, months and years ahead.

If you wish to say goodbye to the downtown Batavia space I've been nesting at for the past couple of years, this Wednesday is your chance.

The Aviana Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

Some trainings teach you what to do. This one changes how you relate to your body and how you hold an elevated, mindful space for others.

The Aviana Aerial Yoga Teacher Training is an immersion into the feminine divine, nervous system safety, intelligent sequencing, and the quiet confidence that comes from a deeply embodied practice aligned with the principles of yoga.

You’ll leave not only knowing how to teach aerial yoga but feeling inspired to discover all the ways in which you'll want to spread your wings as a practitioner or teacher of aerial yoga.

This is training for teachers who feel called to slow down, listen more deeply, and offer experiences that are both beautiful and therapeutically sound.

Held on a sacred horse property just outside the historic shores of St. Augustine, Florida this is an initiation into a lineage rooted in reverence, presence, and the wisdom of the body.
