Turning the volume up to “11”. David Slater installed our EyePrint scanner yesterday. It is phenomenal. Now our out-of-town patients will not have to wait the extra 2-3 days for molds to be shipped to Lakewood. Great to see all the data firsthand.

Definitely worth the wait. @ Memorial Eye Center - Sugar Land

Honored and flattered to participate in the inaugral episode of this new podcast series sponsored by Oculus. Good friend Dr. Jason Jedlicka, designer of Zenlens, is the host. Craig Norman, Alan Glazier and I discuss the role of social media in building your practice. Alan should know, of course, as he is the brains behind "OD's on Facebook". Oh, there is also a brief discussion on scotch whisky. 😉.

Had a great visit with Lauren, a physician who is completing her residency in Denver. Originally from Texas, she was fit with scleral lenses for extreme dry eye last year and is doing very well. We are flattered that she traveled all this way for her annual exam. New lenses were ordered which may be even more comfortable.
Thanks so much Dr. Laura C. and congrats on your recent marriage!

Sometimes it just works. Onefit MED, 16.0 mm OAD over PKP. OD surgery in 2017; OS surgery in 2019. Grafts look great as do the endothelial cells. We will monitor with our CellChek endo. camera.

Using the Optimum Infinite material (Dk 200) to maximize oxygen. Very happy with the start.
