Our wonderful residents enjoyed a special outing today to see Downton Abbey at the theater! 🏰✨
There were lots of smiles, laughs, and, of course, popcorn!
It was such a joy to see everyone relaxing and soaking in the elegance and drama of the Crawley family on the big screen. A great way to spend the afternoon with great company!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our team at Grand Living at Riverstone, Seleta Boulds, our Director of LUMINATIONS® Memory Care. 💜

With over 15 years in healthcare and seven years as a Memory Care Director, Seleta brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to senior care. Her journey began at just 15, and since then, she has held a variety of roles—from a certified nurse aide to owning her own personal care home—all of which have shaped her compassionate and innovative approach.

As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Seleta is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences and delivering exceptional care for our residents and their families.

We are so excited to have her lead our LUMINATIONS® Memory Care program and build on our mission to enhance the quality of life for all those we serve.

Today, our Grand Living family was treated to an unforgettable performance by the Illusioneers Magic Show — and what a show it was! 🪄💫
With a perfect mix of mind-bending illusions, humor, and heart, the talented Illusioneers had our audience clapping, laughing, and gasping in awe. Several of our residents even joined the magicians on stage and helped bring the magic to life — true stars of the show! 🌟

Events like this remind us how special it is to share joyful moments together. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the afternoon so magical — and a special thank you to the Illusioneers for lighting up our community with wonder and delight.

Today we had a dino-mite time at our special event: "Murder Mystery: Who Killed the Dinosaurs?" led by our very own resident superstar — Dave Pasta! 🌟
With his signature wit, charm, and a laser pointer in hand, Dave took us on a thrilling prehistoric whodunnit — solving the greatest cold case of all time. 🕵️‍♂️💥🌋
The audience was captivated, theories flew, and laughter echoed through the room. It was science meets suspense... and we still aren't sure if it was the asteroid, volcanoes, or Dave himself who cracked the case! 😉
A big THANK YOU to Dave for making learning so much fun — and reminding us all that you're never too old to rock a Jurassic mystery!

What a fantastic afternoon we had today at Alex’s Kitchen! 🧑‍🍳💫 The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and most importantly — the company couldn’t have been better. 😊💛
Laughter filled the air, stories were shared, and thumbs were up all around! 👍 Whether we were enjoying a fresh garlic roll or just soaking in the good vibes, it was clear: this group knows how to have a good time.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming our incredible Speakers Docent, Vehishta, from The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She brought to life the beauty and history of The Splendors of China through a captivating presentation.
As an extra treat, Vehishta also brought a few select pieces for our community to experience up close — a truly special opportunity for our residents.
