When first walked through my studio doors here in Sugar Land, she shared something so many moms feel—walking into a gym full of people can be overwhelming, especially when every machine seems taken, and figuring out what to do feels impossible. She was a dedicated mom and wife juggling work and family, wanting to make a change but unsure how to start. Spoiler alert, I’m glad she chose me after trying several fitness centers and trainers in the area 🙏

Together, we broke those barriers step by step. We focused on understanding macronutrients, set up custom calorie plans for training and non-training days, and even worked in fasted-state sprints to accelerate fat loss. Lakshmi pushed hard with heavy bench presses, squats, deadlifts, and speed and agility drills—all in the privacy and support of one-on-one training at my studio. Without the pressure of onlookers, she built true confidence.

Today, Lakshmi is down 40lbs and walks into a well-known gym, on her own, never missing a day—lifting, running, and continuing to get stronger. Watching her go from unsure and overwhelmed to empowered and unstoppable makes me proud as a coach.

✅ HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): After a HIIT workout, your body experiences excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), which means you continue to burn calories even after the workout is over. ***This phenomenon can last up to 48 hours, effectively increasing your overall calorie expenditure‼️

⚠️ HIIT also improves insulin sensitivity: This helps in better nutrient absorption and can lead to a more efficient metabolism.
