🚧Upcoming Construction one week from today! Texas Department of Transportation will close US 90A East and Westbound at SH 99 and SH 99 North and Southbound frontage road at US 90A, beginning Tuesday, September 9 at 9 PM, nightly, through the end of October, to place bridge beams and prepare the proposed bridge.

Officers will be present at key intersections to oversee traffic. Please be mindful of work crews, follow the designated detour routes, and expect traffic delays. Avoid the area when possible.

Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for current traffic conditions in Sugar Land.

🎉👋 Goodbye & Good Luck, Ms. Emily! 🐾🧃🎃🦈🍄🏈✨

This summer was packed with unforgettable memories, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing Ms. Emily! From making s’mores during Camping Week, serving smiles at Lemonade Week, casting spells during Summerween, swimming through Shark Week, collecting coins in Super Mario Week, scoring big in Sports Week, and bringing the sparkle to Superhero & Sparkles Week — Emily did it ALL with heart, creativity, and a whole lot of love for our kids. 💛

Now it’s time to LEVEL UP! 🎓 Emily is heading back to Lubbock to continue her journey in Speech Pathology at Texas Tech. We’re SO proud of her and grateful for the time she shared with us.

🫶 Thank you for being such a bright part of our summer, Ms. Emily. Your kindness, hard work, and laughter will be missed by every single camper (and adult!) here. 💬💕

🍋💛 Lemonade Week was sweet and full of speech magic! 💬✨

We mixed up all kinds of fun:
🍋 Made our own lemonade
🧃 Practiced social skills by ordering from the lemonade stand
💪 Squeezed lemons to build fine motor strength
🌈 Made fizzy lemonade slime
🎲 Played Lemonade Bingo while targeting speech & language goals!

Our clinic was full of smiles, sticky fingers, and lots of summer speech success. Thanks for making it zest-tastic! 💛

🌊🐠 Ocean Week was a splash! 🐬🦀

We had so much fun diving into sensory bins to search for ocean animals, crawling like crabs, and playing I Spy for hidden ocean treasures! 🌊✨

We watched sponges magically grow into dolphins and sharks 🦈🐬, put on ocean creature masks, and sent home rainbow Goldfish as colorful little treats! 🌈🐟

Oh — and check out our beach therapy shirts! Because nothing says summer like a little “beach therapy” (get it? speech therapy 😉).

With a deep passion for working with individuals who stutter, Ashley focuses on more than just speech — therapy centers around understanding how one’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors toward stuttering can shape their communication and self-perception.
Through evidence-based and compassionate care, Ashley aims to break the stigma of stuttering, promote self-acceptance, and help clients build lasting confidence in their voice. Therapy is a space not just for fluency, but for growth, empowerment, and authentic communication.

We are so proud of our young patient (with Ms. Ashley) and his amazing mom for achieving 100% attendance in therapy!
Through busy schedules, sick days, and everything life throws their way, mom always makes it happen — even switching to virtual sessions when needed.
Her commitment, flexibility, and unwavering support are truly inspiring.
To celebrate, we awarded him a special gift — and starting this month, we’ll be recognizing patients with perfect attendance every month!

10 years ago! Dr. Temple Grandin gave a speech right here in Sugar Land! Here I am with Ms. Jaemee (when she was still an SLPA, and now she is an amazing SLP!!!)

Individuals with Autism bring incredible strengths and unique perspectives to the world. One inspiring example is Dr. Temple Grandin. Diagnosed with Autism as a child, she went on to become a renowned animal behavior expert and advocate for Autism awareness. Dr. Grandin revolutionized livestock handling practices with her humane designs, and her work has had a lasting impact on both agriculture and the understanding of neurodiversity. She’s a powerful reminder of the amazing contributions individuals with Autism can make to society!
