ertility and other reproductive and gynecologic issues through the science of NaProTECHNOLOGY™ and teach the gift of fertility through the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. In addition, Caritas Complete Women’s Care will serve women in crisis pregnancies and will offer our women, young and old, alternatives to the contraception when managing their gynecologic problems and family planning needs. This practice consists of Dr. Jamie Hernandez, David Brinkman, MD, Dr. Brooke Jemelka, and Dr. Kathryn Karges. They are graduates of the Blessed John Paul II Fellowship in Medical and Surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY™ at the Pope Paul VI Institute, led by Dr. Thomas Hilgers. They are three of fifteen fellowship-trained NaproTEHCNOLOGY surgeons in the United States. The physicians work closely with FertilityCare practicioners in the Houston area who help to teach natural family planning to their clients. This past Saturday, we had the privilege of attending the Converging Roads health care ethics conference, hosted by the University of St. Thomas and presented by the St. John Paul II Foundation in collaboration with the Catholic Healthcare Professionals of Houston.
It was an inspiring day of thought-provoking discussions at the intersection of faith, medicine, and ethics. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with others who are committed to integrating moral and spiritual values into compassionate healthcare.
