It was a pleasure and an honor to meet with my colleagues to discuss the creation of this group and its future. It was also a fantastic opportunity to hold this meeting at the campus of the Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine whose first graduating class of was in 2024.

It was so awesome to support the Houston Dynamo as they closed out their season. When companies like Aetna or UnitedHealthcare want to rein in costs, they turn to EviCore, whose business model depends on turning down payments for care recommended by doctors for their patients.

This has been going on for a long time now. Everyone needs to be aware of this. I recommend that if you or a loved one are in this situation or have been affected by this to contact the Texas Department Of Insurance and / or the DOJ (department of justice).. You are being denied the benefits that you worked hard from the system that you paid into for many years of employment.

UnitedHealth, CVS and Humana used technology to increase MA prior authorization denials for post-acute services, boosting profits, according to a report from a Senate subcommittee.
