Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the skin is the second most common form of skin cancer, characterized by abnormal, accelerated growth of squamous cells. When caught early, most SCCs are curable.

Dr. Scott Cohen has devoted his professional career to helping people recover from the effects of skin cancer. Dr. Cohen works closely with Dr. Schulze where his specialized training and expertise help patients regain normal form and function following the removal of skin cancers affecting the face, neck and scalp. A Texas native, he is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Rice University and valedictorian of his medical school class at The University of Texas – Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing a residency in Head & Neck Surgery and Fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor he returned to the Houston area where he has been in practice for 26 years. Skin eBx is an advanced, patient-friendly option for NMSC treatment. Skin eBx provides an effective and convenient alternative to surgery allowing patients to return to normal activities immediately with no downtime. Skin eBx provides patients with a targeted, non-invasive alternative to surgery for NMSC treatment. While surgery is considered to be the standard of care for NMSC, for some patients, surgery is not an option or a preference. A completely non-invasive approach, no cutting, bleeding or stitching is required with skin eBx.
