Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery was established by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Eric Humble, to realize his own vision of a place where patients could be served with professional expertise and genuine caring in a state-of-the-art setting of cutting edge technology ensconced in comfort and elegance. As a continuing effort to provide his patients and families with expanded medical and surgical services in English and Spanish, Dr. Humble partnered with Dr. Filiberto Cedeno Laurent, an Ivy-League trained dermatologist to establish a unique practice that encompasses the full-breath of dermatologic services (pediatric, medical, surgical and cosmetic) in addition to all invasive and non-invasive plastic surgery approaches. Our doctors and the entire staff of caring, dedicated professionals offer concierge services that begin with initial consultations and continue through medical and post-procedural follow-up care. Offering a complete range of dermatological, surgical, cosmetic and restorative procedures and recognized on a national level as “best of the best”, Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery has grown to become the “go-to” center for the Houston area.

Our facility houses not only the expected consultation and treatment spaces but also a redefined medical spa featuring the latest technologies and staffed by specially certified nurses and aestheticians. There is even a private library that provides a relaxing space for quiet contemplation before or after a procedure. But most importantly, especially to our current and prospective patients, Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery features an ambulatory surgical suite that is certified by AAAASF – the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. AAAASF was formed in 1980 to standardize and improve the quality of medical and surgical care in ambulatory facilities and has established the highest standards for patient care and safety in the facilities accredited. Recognized as the de facto “last word” by surgeons, legislators and national health officials, this accreditation represents the Gold Standard in patient care.
