Baylor St. Luke’s doctors can now detect diseases at an earlier stage and offer patients improved treatment plans with StarGuide, the hospital’s new state-of-the-art SPECT/CT imaging system with 3D scanning capabilities. The new system enables doctors to get better insights into medical conditions but minimizes the time spent by patients in the whole-body scanning room. Leaders with Baylor St, Luke’s and GE HealthCare gathered recently for a ribbon-cutting ceremony after the installation of the system.

🎉🍎It was a extravaganza here at St. Luke's Health - Brazosport Hospital, Patients Medical Center, and Sugar Land Hospital! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and community spirit! ❤️

Team members across our three South Houston hospitals truly exemplified what it means to care, both inside and outside our walls. They pooled their time, resources, and generosity to gather and donate much-needed supplies for students, teachers, and schools in our communities! From markers and notebooks to gluesticks and tissues, we're so proud to help set everyone up for a successful school year. ✏️📏✨

Topping off the fun at Brazosport Hospital, Chef Marcus, his Food Services team, and our dedicated Employee Engagement Committee threw a "Back-to-School Bash" for the record books! 🥳 Staff and patients alike enjoyed delicious school-lunch style nachos and corndogs, fun games, and refreshing Kona ice – the perfect way to celebrate the start of a new school year! 🍦🌭
