Program Director Jimmy and Clinical Director Melissa rolled up their sleeves this morning and cooked a full pancake breakfast for our staff! From flipping pancakes to serving up smiles, they showed what true servant leadership looks like.

On this , we are excited to introduce Loretta as our new Clinical Director for our Alice team!

Loretta graduated in 2019 from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and has spent the last six years serving patients in home health as a field nurse and clinical supervisor. Born and raised in Alice, her roots run deep and so does her commitment to caring for the families in this community.

After personally witnessing the tenderness and light hospice nurses brought to a close friend’s family during the loss of her mother, Loretta felt a clear calling to this work. She knew she wanted to be part of providing that same comfort, dignity, and peace to others.

When she is not serving patients and leading our clinical team, you will likely find her at the ranch with friends and family cooking, watching sports, and playing lotería and card games.

We are grateful for her leadership, her heart, and the way she reflects the mission of hospice in everything she does. Please join us in welcoming Loretta to this role.

We are proud to spotlight Palliative Pathways™, our newly trademarked program designed to support patients and caregivers who may not be ready for hospice (emotionally or medically) or who have been discharged from hospice.

Palliative Pathways offers education, guidance, and connections to community resources, along with ongoing support as needs change. Anyone can make a referral, including providers, facilities, family members, or the individual.
