We are deeply saddened by the devastating floods impacting communities across Texas. Torrential rains have displaced families, damaged homes, and disrupted countless lives. The loss and questions remain but Texas is strong, and we come together when it matters most.

The heat is on this summer! And did you know that the temperature and weather can cause COPD symptoms to worsen?

When we have hot and humid summer air, it can make those with COPD feel worse because the air is “thicker,” and is filled with moisture, making it hard to breathe.

Here are some tips to help you enjoy summer with every breath:
- Keep cool
- Don’t overexert yourself
- Watch the weather forecast
- Dress appropriately for the heat
- Stay hydrated
