Sugarloaf Township prohibits the use of Fireworks within the Township. We understand that some of you patriots will be setting off fireworks. Here are some friendly reminders.

Ordinance #3 of 2018

Section 2: It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firms or corporations, amusement parks, fair associations or other organizations or groups of individuals , to have or hold displays of display fireworks within the limits of the Township of Sugarloaf, unless a permit is first granted by the Board of Supervisors for Sugarloaf Township.

If found in violation the actor can be fined up to $600.00

Due to the lack of rain and the fire hazards that fireworks present to the environment we are asking that all residents refrain from setting off fireworks to keep our Fire Fighters sleeping in their station.
