Meet our Director of Nursing, Mary. She started out as a CNA in 1995. She became a LPN and did that for 16 years before becoming a RN. She is a specialty Nurse in pulmonology, oncology, and cardiac. She is wound certified and also a infection preventionist. Mary is also a CNA/CMT instructor. Wow - what dedication! ❤️

🩺 Although Nurses Week is over, we still want to shout out our amazing Nursing team. Today, meet Brittany, one of our LPNs. She became a CNA when she was 18, and in 2017 she became an LPN. Brittany has tried different aspects of nursing, but always finds her way back to long-term care. ❤️

👩‍⚕️ Meet our Wound Nurse, Tracy. Tracy has always known she wanted to be a Nurse, even as a young child. While in high school, she worked as feeder/bed maker in a skilled nursing facility. She became a CNA during her senior year. Tracy got her LPN and then worked as a Wound Nurse, DON, and then in the administration field.

💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.
