Willa's last day of in home therapy with First Steps is on 8/18/25. I honestly have so much sadness and anxiety over this. I feel like we are losing our support system. They have been with her since we brought her home. 😭😭😢 She has came so far built bonds with them they are like family.

Best friends 🧡 Luna is naturally motherly and bossy. She sometimes doesnt understand why Willa won't do what she wants. But shes learning to be patient.

As we continue Disability Pride Month I wanted to share a poem wrote by Emily Perl Kingsley. I think this touches alot of families out there who have children with disabilities. Its too me about 2.5yrs to realize spending everyday mourning the life we should of had is wasting every moment we have together building memories. The mourning never truely goes away. But its easier to shut that window and look at it from a distance than it is to welcome it in our home.
