On yesterday, I actually preached my first sermon!! I felt God in a different way, I know I’ve been running for awhile doing the things that I’ve wanted to do. Things happen on a mysterious way. The message i preached was from “Jeremiah 29:11”. My topic was “I coming out of a place called stuck”, I’ve known for awhile that would be my first topic. When I was asked to be the eulogist from a good friend of mine, I didn’t want to accept it, took me a few days to respond, God was talking to me and told me my objective! I was stuck back a few years ago when I worked at the middle school, the young man that I preached his funeral helped me in so many ways! The sermon the lord gave me lined up with everything! I asked God through prayer, if it be in his will for me to accept my calling into the ministry, that he would charge the hearts of those students that would be there to flood the alter, and it happened…. God shows you in so many ways it’s up to you to answer the call “I am”…. I’ve been receiving messages and phone calls every since, Thank you Josh Chambers and family for allowing me to serve in a great capacity, it’s through Ethan’s life that I’ve been shown what my objective is…

Fast and loud, that’s the only way to sum up Ethan. From the time he was a baby, till his last breath he lived and loved full throttle. Ethan’s lively hood was helping anyone who needed help at any time day or night. If you needed something moved, he was there. Wanted to go duck hunting? He’s already headed to your house. Want to go fishing? You gotta try these Canadian worms!!!! It didn’t matter if it was riding ATV in Colorado with his friends, or riding the mechanical bull at Shenanigans he was down for a good time as long as he could make somebody smile. At the end of the day, Ethan had one true love, his single cab Silverado. He spent countless hours under the hood of his chevy and would tell you, “She ain’t new, but she’s mine”. He loved that truck and when he passed, so did she. As strong headed as they come, once Ethan made his mind up there was no changing it! You could tell him something over and over and you would get his famous “I got this” every time.
