Today was the first official community service for “Heart of the Wildcat”.
These students took time out of their busy schedule to visit with Seniors at their Nursing Home.

If any students would like to a part of it, please reach out to Tatum Tran @ 430-252-9295.
As of now, Heart of the Wildcat plan to visit on a monthly basis for activities with Seniors.

Carriage House Manor and The Cottages- Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce Business of The Week June 30th-July 6th.
✨They are proud to offer Hopkins County the Cottages for short term rehab stays. They are unique to East Texas and provide nursing facility care in a home-like setting. Each cottage has 12 private rooms with a central living and dining area. The comfort and peace of the cottages ease the residents’ recovery before returning to the community.

✨Carriage House provides 24/7 skilled nursing care and therapy. They offer long term care and short term rehab stays. With Their own full in-house therapy team, Carriage House provides individualized Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies. Their team can help care for those with dementia needing long term care as well as patients needing to recover from a hospital visit before returning back home.

✨Carriage House Manor and the Cottages is the only locally owned and operated skilled nursing facility in Sulphur Springs. Arvis and Sheila Tanton have owned the facility since 2000. Arvis was the Administrator for 25 years before retiring in 2018. Their daughter Sharla Campbell then stepped in as Administrator. The Tanton’s second daughter, Shandra Dunn, is a Speech Therapist and serves as the Rehab Director. With family also working in Admissions and nursing, this is truly a family business.
