Today’s menu was a true crowd-pleaser 😋🍽️

A huge shout-out to Kawana, our amazing Assistant Dietary Manager, and Judith, our wonderful Activities Director, for teaming up to prepare one of our residents’ absolute FAVORITES — the famous Hopkins County Stew! 🥘❤️

This hearty, slow-simmered stew was packed with tender meat and veggies, served up with warm, golden cornbread, a fresh and crisp side salad, and washed down with perfectly sweet, ice-cold Texas iced tea 🧊☀️. And just when everyone thought it couldn’t get better… dessert arrived! 🍑🔥 Homemade peach cobbler, gooey, sweet, and baked to perfection.

Full plates, happy hearts, and lots of smiles all around — this meal was comfort food at its finest. Thank you, Kawana and Judith, for putting so much love into a meal our residents truly cherish! 💛👏

Rise & shine it’s therapy time!☀️💪

Our residents were up bright and early, bringing the energy to the therapy gym—and WOW did they deliver! From warm-ups to big wins, the room was buzzing with motivation, laughter, and serious determination. Every rep, every stretch, every step forward is proof that hard work (and a great attitude) starts the day off right.

We’re so proud of everyone for showing up, putting in the effort, and proving that mornings are better when you move with purpose. Let’s keep that momentum rolling! 🙌✨

Deborah Crist recently completed her second stay at Rock Creek, and once again, she reminded us why she’s such a special part of our community. From the moment she returned, Deborah made it clear—Rock Creek is the only place she trusts for her rehabilitation journey.

Her determination, positive spirit, and commitment to her goals shone through every step of the way. Deborah worked hard with the therapy team, building strength and confidence as she prepared for her transition back home. Watching her progress has been incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.

We truly love Deborah and are honored that she continues to choose Rock Creek for her care. As she returns home, we wish her continued growth, strength, and success. Deborah’s journey is a beautiful example of resilience, trust, and the power of compassionate rehabilitation.

🎭 Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🎭

Rock Creek was filled with color, music, and joy as we celebrated Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday in true festive style! Our residents had an absolute blast putting on a wonderful and eclectic parade throughout the facility, spreading smiles and excitement everywhere they went.

From festive attire to lively energy, the parade was a highlight of the day and a perfect example of the creativity and spirit of our residents. Laughter echoed through the halls, and the celebration brought everyone together for a day full of fun, community, and Mardi Gras magic.

💘 What a Night to Remember at Our Valentine’s Party! 💘

Love was truly in the air as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with an evening full of joy, music, and togetherness. Residents and their families gathered for a delicious dinner, beautifully accompanied by live instrumental music that set the perfect mood.

After dinner, the fun continued with a talented performer singing some of our favorite love songs, and before long the room was filled with singing, dancing, laughter, and smiles.

One of the highlights of the night was crowning our 2026 Rock Creek King and Queen, chosen through votes from both residents and staff—such a special moment of pride and celebration! 👑💐

With families in attendance, plenty of photos being taken, and lots of dancing, it was truly a fabulous and fun night that reminded us how special these shared moments are. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Valentine’s celebration so memorable! ❤️
