An update on Tyler (9/30/22) :
We got the results from the bone marrow biopsy, and thankfully, it was clean! One victory and we’re hoping for more this coming week with the doctor visits in Houston.
We also found out the type of lymphoma last week. It’s a type of non-hodgkins and the subtype is burkitt. It’s an extremely rare subtype, affecting only 1.3% of NHL patients. And while it’s rare and very aggressive, it does have a good prognosis.
We’ll know staging and course of treatments this coming week, but we’re hoping for good news.
