Happy 4th Workversary to our kind Kayla! Kayla is an amazing person, loving daughter, dependable technician, intelligent teammate, and a wonderful friend. She is talented, interesting, honest, works hard, and cares deeply. Kayla does everything with purpose and thinks through what will best support our learners, while communicating openly with supervisors. She shares many interests with our learners and effortlessly forms a relationship with each kiddo. She is quick to smile and even quicker to encourage. Her calm demeanor, honest communication, and straightforward attitude are assets to everyone she works with. Kayla explains her motivations at the office are our kiddos and team. She is exhilarated when a learner accomplishes a skill that has been worked on by the whole team, a genuine team effort by the learner and the adults that support them. Kayla chose a career in ABA when looking for a meaningful challenge, something outside of her comfort zone, that would place her directly where she could help others. She loves that her career in ABA is not only an avenue to help children but also allows her to help set our learners up for a successful and more independent future! Her future career plans are to continue crushing it as a registered line technician and work towards some more credentials as she grows in her career. Kayla, we are so lucky to work beside you! You make a difference in the world, and we are so proud of everything you have accomplished! We look forward to many years with you! Happy Workversary, Kayla!

Happy 4th Workversary to our joyous Jen! Jen is a great leader, a hardworking BCBA, encouraging teammate, and a loving friend. She is a sponge for knowledge, always soaking up new information and a natural seeker for answers. Jen continues to grow and learn as she leads and takes on new responsibilities. She started as a technician with Lights On ABA, and with dedication, willpower, an intelligent mind, and a positive work ethic, she continued and continues to further her path in ABA. She is supportive, kind, and compassionate. Jen strives to guarantee the best for our learners and team, with our learners’ safety, needs, wants, and individuality foremost in her mind at all times. She works alongside our technicians, supporting and encouraging every step of the way. Jen says her biggest motivator at Lights On ABA is the rewarding joy she feels witnessing every amount of progress our learners accomplish, whether in communication, self help skills, or any form of more independence. She wants to be alongside our kiddos as they master new skills and tackle new challenges, cheering them on as they grow and learn! Jen originally became interested in the field of ABA because of her brother who has a diagnosis of ASD. Her love for him, curiosity about social differences, and the need to understand propelled her to look for a career and pathway that may answer some questions. Before her fateful interview with Lights On ABA, Jen had decided to get her master’s degree in special education, following her achievement of a teaching degree. She planned on taking a Lights On ABA technician position for a summer job but during the interview, Jen quickly realized how fascinating the field of ABA was and she quickly changed course from a summer job to a forever career. Her future professional goals include continuing to learn, do what she loves (ABA), and building strong and respectful relationships with present and future families. Jen, we are so proud of you, and we appreciate everything you do! You are an inspiration and you make a difference in the world and in the lives of so many. We look forward to a beautiful future with you! Happy Workversary, Jen!
