Yesterday, we were proud to host an open house ceremony celebrating the newly remodeled Primary Care Associates of WCCH clinic. 💙

This newly remodeled facility, along with the addition of new primary care and internal medicine providers, reflects our commitment to delivering personal, professional and compassionate care to all who walk through our doors. Our mission is to serve our community efficiently and effectively — ensuring everyone has access to the primary care and internal medicine services they need when they need them.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Yazan Alqara, MD, MPH, to the Primary Care Associates of WCCH family!

Dr. Alqara provides comprehensive care for adults ages 18 and older, with expertise in diagnosing and managing diseases, chronic conditions and complex health concerns.

He earned both his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He completed his internal medicine residency through the LSU Health Sciences Center/University Hospital and Clinics program in Lafayette. His training includes extensive experience across inpatient and outpatient care, critical care, and subspecialty rotations such as cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, pulmonology and infectious disease.

Dr. Alqara is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
