This past week, ShandsCair Critical Care Transport Program sent two of our flight crew members to Baltimore for Bradford County Fire Rescue’s Advanced Airway Course and Cadaver Lab.

Collaborative training with our local partners is wildly beneficial to the patients we serve.

The Jim Howard EMS scholarship gives assistance to selected local first responders that have set a goal for advancing their careers, but are limited by financial constraints.

Donations can be made through hole sponsorships, or anonymously. Our local first responders give so much to our community, here’s an easy opportunity to give back.

Commissioners honored the late Dr. Peter J. Gianas for his decades of life-saving service to the county’s residents with a proclamation and honorary designation for a portion of State Road 230 in southwest Clay County. Dr. Gianas was the medical director for Clay County Fire Rescue for more than 15 years and played a significant role in training our paramedics in advanced life support techniques. It's an honor to memorialize him in this lasting way, and we are proud to do so.
