My mother came home from work, furious. She had just been told that she would be training a younger guy - to be HER boss! She knew everything necessary to manage, and yet, because he was a male, he would be the boss. This was my first introduction to and has stayed with me and informed every aspect of my life.

Had she survived breast cancer, she would have been 83 years old today.

I am the woman I am and do the work that I do to honor my mother.

When I learned that scars could be improved I was thrilled for the potential it had for the breast cancer survivors I worked with. But the results weren't always consistent, which was incredibly frustrating.
So I continued to research all the potentials . . .

I was asked to do a presentation for an AnteAGE educational seminar and so many people had questions; questions about their own scars, and questions about how I did what I did.

There are millions of people suffering, physically, yes, but worse, emotionally, with their scars. This is my small contribution to the science and study of scars.
