*BAD BATCH ALERT* A recent surge in overdoses has been reported in Kanawha county, with nearly 40 cases occurring within 24 hours (Wednesday-Thursday). The suspected cause is a mixture of xylazine, a potent respiratory depressant, and fentanyl. In the event of an overdose, please call 911, administer naloxone, and provide respiratory/cardiac support until medical professionals arrive. To obtain naloxone or testing strips, please contact us at 304-872-5329. Additional resources are available at Camden Family Health in Summersville, Sozo Recovery, and Blessing boxes.

Police say it appears users got ahold of the tranquillizer drug Xylazine.
